It's funny, I was timing how long it would be before you responded to his post. My mother's best friend was a voluntary spinster who was amazingly attractive and worked as a sports coach. She devoted her time to training Olympic track and field athletes and never had any interest in settling down or dating.

That's biologically impossible. Women are as incapable of lowering their standards as men are incapable of having a vagina.

Women are attracted to ONLY the top 20% of men, the alpha males. If you're not an alpha male, your options are: learning to emulate alpha males by means not permitted on this site, going your own way (a.k.a. MGTOW), or hiring escorts. Luckily, many men's sex drive plummets after age 30, so lack of sex isn't a big deal like it is for men in their 20's.

Oh okay, I can see that. Well what about men, are incels only attracted to a certain percentage of women, and they will not or cannot lower their standards?

my sex drive is still there in my 6th decade but my body is not able to cooperate sans little blue pill. if it weren't for silicone suzy i'd have gone mad long ago. so i would respectfully beg to differ about the lack of sex not being a big deal for somebody post-30.

the big barrier for many young whippersnappers is obesity, that is a powerful physical turn-off for many young men, based on what i saw around me when i was in the army. if a potential sex partner is not obese, fair game. a tumescent manroot only searches for satisfaction and not for arm candy.

Short answer: no. During college and for some time after, my standards were virtually nonexistent. I was OK with dating any girl who showed interest, regardless of what she looked like. But even then, I had an extremely difficult time finding a willing taker. Which means those girls were still attracted to only top 20% of men, and I wasn't in that category.

All the women I dated early on in my dating career were overweight. Like I said, I didn't have standards, due to how ugly I was, so I aimed within my league. After all, I knew that big women weren't highly sought out in the dating world, so I had a better chance with them. I ended up finding a handful of relationships that way. Of course, that was long before online dating went mainstream. Today, even very plain women get 100+ messages a day, which inflates their expectations and makes them as picky as model-looking beauty queens.

But how can women who are average or below, still be scoring with the top 20% of men? Wouldn't they have to settle for less too, or are they still able to get the top 20 because the top 20% of men still have standards that allows for below average women to do so?

look at the example of the former guvornator of california, who consorted with his maid, who, god bless her, was not a beauty queen but he found her attractive enough to procreate with her.

I think there are men and women who are absorbed in their own passions/special interests and sex/partners doesn't interest them.

They bear children and many good looking alpha males will settle for a homely type of girl who is family orientated (rather than a narcissistic social media user, party girl or one who can't keep still and wants to travel the world).

Aspie1 is exaggerating a bit. According to him, only 20% of the men at his college were having sex or dating. I don't believe the number was that limited, otherwise 80% of the men would have been involuntarily celibate.

In reality, women may indeed only be attracted to the top 20% (alpha males), but will settle for middle-tier men (beta males) if the women themselves are too fat or ugly to attract alphas. However, there's that bottom category...the omega males. Even the fat and ugly chicks don't want them, and self-improvement and acting differently won't change the fact that they fail in the looks deapartment. There is a cut-off point where even an ugly woman would rather be alone than have sex with an ugly man. These are the incels of whom you speak.

We're getting back into standards and the differences of male attractiveness to women and women's attractiveness to men. She was homely, but ready, willing, and able. And she lived in, or spent the bulk of her time, in his domain. That's enough for a lot of men to say "good enough." Women do NOT have comparable standards. Don't fantasize about having been Marilyn Monroe's butler...it wouldn't have happened.

Alphas go through phases. Many sleep with multiple partners even when they are in relationships. Then they eventually want to settle down (even billionaires settle down). The woman they settle down with should be compliant to the alpha males domestic demands. So the party girls or social media junkies aren't on the menu. Of course this isn't all of them.

So who do party girls, narcissists and travel girls sleep with? anybody...and you will find they have no shortage of men who will oblige,.

Oh okay, so there are no omega females then that cannot get any, and guys will still want an omega female if they had to, but not vice versa?
