For me it's more a matter of never having been to Nevada before. Stupid baptist Texas...

i'm still a 25 yr. old virgin not only 'cus of having AS, but because my job isn't very stable (thanx 2 the economy), i don't fit the whole male 'fantasy standards' of what women should be for them (beauty, blonde hair, DD-cup breasts, super-skinnyness, blue eyes, bi-curious, submissive, weak, etc.), guys have no feelings toward women whatsoever (let alone want a meaningful relationship), i'm not into sports, my interests are far different from men, and i'm not gonna be anyone's b***h.
thus, i'm a pathetic excuse for a 25 yr. old AS female whose got nothing going on for herself.

As for me, I believe it is illegal, even here in Quebec, and I am afraid of being caught, arrested and prosecuted.

I also don't have the opportunity as to get a prostitute, one must go to Montreal and I have no pretext for going there. I am afraid my mother would find out and I would be very embarrassed.

Most of mine have been self-induced, but I much prefer assisted.

Actually, Catholics outnumber Baptists in Texas by a very thin margin.

It's difficult for me to connect with people in general. Even good friends, if I haven't seen them in a while, feel awkward during catching up. My interests are shared by perhaps a few hundred people in the entire world, most of them not women. The issue is interest overlap.

Timing has been bad, too. Whether I like it or not, my financial situation has been a contributor, as well. Having no debt makes me relatively wealthy, but I am frugal and I have no private plane, no house, no jet ski, things that people can see. Who I am and what I have are difficult to appreciate, apparently.

The formation of relationships hangs on things that happen over too short time scales. If I don't respond fast enough when someone holds her hand a certain way, or whatever it is that we're supposed to look for, it's interpreted as dislike. I can't decide whether I am interested in a woman without a consistent pattern of seeing her regularly.

It's kind of odd, as now there are more southern baptists in the north than in the south...

I'd hate to live in Texas for a number of reasons. One of which had to with the law they passed against "toys".

I don't think I could live without those....

That's weird. I don't see why they would outlaw sex toys, but strike down the infamous sodomy law.

It's nearly 2010 - why are those laws even in *existence* in this country, in this era? Good grief!

Same reason prop8 was so popular, goddamn mormons.

They are saving us, you see.

If we used those toys we'd go to hell, so these kind gracious religious folk are making them illegal so we wouldn't use them.

There are not one or two but three epic fails in there.
1) There is no God or hell or sin so the point is moot.
2) People will still use what's illegal, they just do it in secret so they don't get caught.
3) The above causes more violent crime.

Why I said Nevada. Although I was joking, technically it is the correct reason. If I was really considering prostitutes it'd have happened by now.

True, but that's because of all the Mexicans who don't yet have enough power to influence the laws all that much. The laws here do have a Baptist bent to them. The alcohol laws are particularly annoying.



I'm not sure about that. I've been in some novelty stores and I'll just say that if there is a law about that on the books, let's just say they don't always enforce it.
