I missed that post. I would LOVE the option of an arranged marriage. I tend to like most anyone after I know em a while & i think a lot of people would like me as well if they gave me a chance

I would be very bothered by the fact that they would be programmed to act like they love you. That's not love, that's just a program. My answer: never.

Android? sure. Clone? No problem. As long as they are advanced enough.

I read a funny short story once about zombies being used to replace blue collar labor and sex workers. Not the brain munching kind, just the reanimated. quiet and obedient kind. The female character explained to the protagonist that he'd "better cultivate a taste for it" as she was impressed by their indefatigable nature and wasnt planning on seeing him again.

Possibly, it would mostly depend on how advanced it was.... are we talking Data for Startrek advanced, or more like a vacuum with eyes?

It's quite funny in a lot of sci-fi there must be writers with aspergers or similar who create their ideal women who have aspergers qualities such as Cameron from Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles or Seven of Nine in Star Trek Voyager. I am always attracted to the personalities of those characters, If Cameron showed up at my house I wouldn't complain that she was a robot. It would be creepy for me if a human made it though, Cameron was made by machines so it was more free and it's own species kind of.

As for falling in love with a clone that couldn't reject me or someone forced to marry me yes I could fall in love with them but I wouldn't force them to be with me, unless it was a clone of myself then no I couldn't fall in love with that.

Are we humans not hardwired to love other people. We are not really free from programming.
