do you have a bf/gf
I guess you could say I am as close to crazy as somebody can be while still retaining cognitive skills. This is reason enough for women to avoid me.
Actually, as much as I dislike it, I do not disagree with my "ratings". Despite being high functioning enough, my social skills are still really messed.

Nope....
I'm lonely...and I'm always up for adventures...but I won't settle.
I just need to get back into college, and have fun.

Been single for over five years now.
I just have very specific standards (not... *material* things) and I have a hard time finding people I'm comfortable with. I've always been like this. I can fake a persona and start up a "relationship" but it fails quickly (or I get bored). It's a shame, I wish I could do better in this arena.

Does religion count as a material thing? Actually, aside from money and objects...would there be anything else on this list aside from decent looks and a healthy body?
It's weird..I am either immediately comfortable or not...and most of the time, it stays that way with the person unless they make an effort. If I feel comfortable, I will make an effort though. But this only happens with 1/2 the people I meet (irl anyways) and most of them are girls
- Currently stalking this one guy, let's keep our finger's crossed.
Haha, good luck!
I've mostly given up internet stalking, especially for dating...no LDS guys online.

I'm an atheist, and I haven't met anyone for whom that's a big problem. I know many, many people in mixed marriages. (Though none of them are LDS
I probably would not date someone whose entire culture/community revolved around their religion, because that would bother me. But no, I don't consider that a material good. It's material (important) but not material (having to do with status/money).
I'm only comfortable with about 5% of people, beyond a certain superficial capacity. So I have a much smaller pool to work with, right from the start.

Yea...it's only an issue if it is a part of your culture. Not the entire culture, just the majority of it. Like, I'm not asking for someone perfect, there's some rules that I don't follow...I just want someone who has faith in it and tries their best.
Now I wonder why that is with no LDS in mixed marriages
Wow, 5%. I am immediately (under 5 minutes) comfortable with that amount. Semi-immediately(during the activity sometime with contact) with 25% and I am pretty comfortable (faking) with 50%.
But 5% I immediately piss off, and 25% usually have a disdain for me , and 50% are just ok with me....so it goes both ways.

Unfortunately, no I don't have a girlfriend. I've never had one either. I think I got close once a few years ago with a girl who crushed on me a bit in college, but it didn't become anything, even when I expressed interest in her some time later. We talked on the phone off and on for a while, but since she fell in love with someone, we've lost touch.
Living at home with my folks and not having any freedom or independence doesn't help matters either. This is not going to change until I can find some sort of job. Girls don't seem to like guys that don't have a good job, which is why I've pretty much avoided dating sites lately.
I'm glad I came across this forum. Although it likely won't change my dating situation at all, knowing that my situation isn't totally unique does provide me with some consolation.

Welcome, mitch413 (area code?). I'm in MA, too, but in 617. Howdy, neighbor!

I'm in the same boat as you, man. 29, Aspie, no history of girlfriends, etc. I also live at home, which is a bit of a hurdle. I plan to move out when I can afford it. You certainly aren't alone, so you can take some small measure of solace in that

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, 413 is my area code here in western MA. Being that you're from area code 617, you must be from Boston. Great town. I applied for some jobs there, but didn't get them. I wish there were more jobs here in the western part of the state.
