I dunno, I think I look better as being fair. Pale skin can be pretty and tanning can give you skin cancer soooo I'll stick with the Snow White look. :)

Its a personal preference but I wayyy prefer prefer pale white skin.

As long as it's not unhealthy white. I do get a little color when I'm outside but I'm mostly either white or red from sunburn. Sooo irish. XD

They don't. Tan = sun damaged.

Girls you went to high school with who were sun worshippers... guaranteed they look like crap now.

I find pale complexions to be exceedingly sexy, presuming healthy skin in general. Personally, I am so pale I'm slightly translucent. I haven't been in sunlight in about a year...unless you count brief indirect/ambient sunlight, and more or less have been avoiding it for the last decade.

Ps. I still look like a teenager, avoiding the sun is working miracles for my skin's health.

How is that healthy? You're probably riddled with vitamin D deficiency. Yes, it gives you less of a chance of getting skin cancer.. your skin might be "healthy" but your body won't be. :?

I haven't been in the sun for about 3 weeks and I already look dead. :(

I had bloodwork done a while back and my Vitamin D levels were very low. I told the doctor I never went in the sun, and he told me to take supplements. You can have healthy Vitamin D without ever setting foot in sunlight.

What about those who are inborn "tanned"?

As it happens I'm of part Lebanese descent myself, so somewhat naturally tanned. What I really meant is while I actually think tanned colour skin looks nice, it's pale white skin on women I find sexy (which is different from looking 'nice'), which is probably a weird niche  Never used to.

Not really a weird niche, I knew plenty of men who like the "snow white" skin on women. I am myself indifferent regarding this, I liked girls of different skin types (dark brunettes , pale,1 was blonde).

Btw, I am considered pale by the locals but olive/dark by WPers.

Do you know any Arabic? How much do you know of the Lebanese culture?

I drink about a gallon of milk a day. And include cheese in a large portion of my diet. I'm very lactose tolerant. I also take multivitamins. I am in really good health to be honest. Just...very pale.

Yes you can take vitiman D. It just seems so pointless and unnatural though, as humans were made to get it from the sun.

/shrug forget I said anything.

I'm mixed race (mainly White with Southeast Asian and African) and tan up in the summer and always have caramel undertones to my skin but I'm thinking of wearing foundation or tan on my arms in the summer when I expose them cause I find white skin shows up the 'chicken skin' effect and can look less solid than dark skin. Idk I'm sure a lot of Africans and other dark skinned ethnicity have that knobbly skin effect to.

Don't know Arabic, my Grandfather spoke it though, I'm only 1/4 Lebanese by descent, the rest is mainly Scottish. When I was a kid growing up we used to eat Lebanese food pretty often, back in the 70s New Zealand, (home of plain mince, potatoes and cabbage for dinner) it was considered weird exotic stuff but I liked it, and of course love it now. My great grandparents were Maronites from Bsharri.
