They're busy with eachother.
When ever I come back from rabbitear's house or vice versa I always miss WP alot and post as much as I can in my spare time.

I'm just an addict so I'm back now.

But I have much better things to do when I'm with my girlfriend than sit around online with my lap-top all day.

I'm not ditching anyone here though.

As the OP, I feel compelled to clarify that I don't think there is anything wrong with posting less on WP, I just noticed this happening a lot and was curious about why.

No criticism of it, expressed or implied.

I just re-read my last post on this thread and it probably comes across as bitchier than intended.

I can see that you don't have any sort of problem with people posting less. I'd be just as curious.

I have a slightly different spin on this: While yes, having a limited amount of time and spending it on a relationship (or in my case, potential relationships), can be cause for posting less, I tend to get "peopled out" very quickly. It takes me a fair amount of effort to put thoughts into words, so I can't do it for hours on end. If I spend time working on a relationship for any extended period, the last thing that I want to do is to try to put a post together, even if I have the time. I might read some, but something non-verbal is more relaxing.
I agree with this, too.

We're not the most sociable people (aspies,) having one person that I communicate with regularly can be enough social interaction for me personally so i could understand that being the case for others.

No! The recent lull in my posting activity was due to the fact that my kids are on Thanksgiving break and we've been doing a lot together. I did manage to get a post in from the San Diego zoo though...

Lies.

I have him chained to the radiator, and I only give him his iPad twice a day (it keeps the delirium tremens at bay).

I think it has more to do with just something new to play with. The relationship is new and I assume entertaining, so instead of coming here for entertainment, they have it right by them, so no need to come here. Sort of like having a new video game.. you may not have been looking for that video game all your life, but since it's fun you might stop playing some other game you were for awhile, and obsess over the new one until your done with it.

I can't tell if you're the sadist or the masochist on WP. :P

Perhaps one should be aware that 1. people are what they are, and 2., all generalizations are false, including this one,.

I'm still posting although I'm seeing someone. Then again, I'm so neurotic that, if anything, dating someone often gives me more to post about than being single, lol.
