Just been quite busy, I was going to work when I posted the response to that other guy and it was only one photo.

This doesn't say much apart from that you are sitting by a computer, try to take some fun pictures, rock climbing, water sport event, beach, playing soccer in a soccer outfit, something you enjoy.

Poor lighting and pose is defensive, hugging yourself or crossed hands like that comes across as someone that is guarded. Maybe standing outside Nando's doing a funny pose would work better.

Bad photo, bad lighting, bad pose with your hand on your chin, try making your hair messy with gel. Women love messy hair and ask a professional photographer for advice or to take a few photos of you with different expressions.

Not bad, looks more like sin city though. Try take this walking out of the ocean or on the beach after you have tanned a little.

Again beach or ocean, rock climbing, something adventurous.

Again, have a photo maybe cooking something as there's a kitchen here. Trying to appear too serious or pouting like that can come across as try hard in some cases.

This isn't a bad photo, however try to avoid using photos that are overly edited unless you are going for professional looking black and white shots.

Even if you don't have any friends, get a family member to take a photo of you doing said activities, maybe just take a photo of you randomly in a club, try taking different photos doing activities.

I don't even have a dating profile, or any profiles on any social network. But, I'll play this game. http://tinypic.com/r/71ntwy/6 That's me in front of a waterfall. Good pic?

Great photo, dude, you seem to have some good photo ideas. Taking pictures working on cars, working out, by waterfalls, they are good and interesting activities. If it's something a girl can relate to, it's going to be a good opener for a conversation.

In short, I need to get out more. I agree: my life is spectacularly boring. :?

As for photos of me doing different things, I have only this one:

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c341/ ... M_1799.jpg

It is from a play where I acted as the main character. Obviously, the creepy smile is intentional, given the Burton-esque make-up.

As for my hair, I am currently trying to grow a pompadour; I used to have spiky hair for too many years.

And about the serious pouting photo, I was not trying; my face is normally like that (except for the closed eyes, but as I said, that was a reaction to the strong sunlight).

Anyway, thanks for the advice. I need to go back to swimming, kung fu, boxing and parkour. And take some photos.

Stick with swimming and Boxing. Bit of a hypocrit saying that as there's no place for me to learn boxing myself and I can't swim and once more, no places to learn. ((Would kill to know how to swim))

It's not Facebook obviously. Most women on there just have a few photos so you can see what they they basically look like. Seems like Wolfheart tells people to add a ton of photos like its FB or something. :?

A shirtless photo is okay if it's in a candid setting like on the beach. Those bathroom mirror ones seem creepy for some reason.

I think he is just terrified of the Hellboy photo.

P.S.: The white eyes are not photoshopped. I can really do that with my eyes. 8)

I recall you had a pic with two bimbos. Why don't you experiment with it? it might surprise you.

I have pictures with three different pair of "bimbos", actually. Back then, I had some interesting friends. :) Unfortunately, even they were not able to help me.

About using those pictures: even if they did attract girls, I would not use them. They were from the time I was going to raves with my coworkers. I eventually realized I did not like clubbing, which means it would be a bad idea to use pictures that could attract girls who like clubbing.

But I am seriously thinking about going out and taking better pictures (e.g. outdoor activities) in order to try online dating again, even if it is for the wrong reasons (i.e. forgetting about my current obsession regarding my friend).

It is an interesting idea... On Friday night I am... Clubbing with my friends, drinking and generally being the womanizer charismatic social butterfly I am. :P

If you want, I can give you some pictures from those times and you can try your little experiment. It could be fun.

It's hard to make them sound genuine while they're not my pics.

I think this thread is a good idea but obviously different basic levels of attractiveness that one can exploit to differing amounts via a more refined mode of presentation. For instance, brad pitt is still going to do way better with a sh***y camera in a badly lit situation than john merrick with the best photographer on the planet at his disposal. As someone more on the merrick end of the spectrum, i preferred it in the earlier days of dating websites where there was still a significant percentage of peeps not having photos on the profile. That suited me. But now, it sucks that its the norm to have pics. Last time i was on a dating site i wasnt doing too bad when i didnt have a picture on, but when i put a picture on my response levels went down dramatically. Ouch!

Your troubles are over!

Seriously though, I do use his immortality rings, and have used them from 2007 on. Fingers crossed on the immortality bit. I have used Gorgeouspil, but I've never taken it longterm.

Nah I quite like the rings. It's not a scam, he gives you instructions on how to make them yourself at home, you don't even have to buy them from him. He used to have a link referral thing, and I got two free pairs of rings from him that way. It won't make you immortal obviously, but I do think it's a good thing to promote health and recovery from various illnesses. If you're seriously interested in the rings, get 4 magnets that fit on your fingers, and tape them the polarity it says on his website. One time also, I was using my homemade rings, and taped the wrong polarity, and got very sick from the wrong polarity, so the rings do something, what, I don't know.

But I will despite the amount of crazy it makes me look, recommend them to others.
