The last guy I dated told me that he loved everything about me, but in reality, he didn't love me at all. Being told that someone loves everything about you isn't a bad thing, but if it's being said while the truth is the complete opposite, then that could indeed be one of the worst things the opposite gender (or anyone really) to tell you about you.

This is no longer the worst thing, as I met the above mentioned lady this week after fifteen years apart.

So what could be worse than the original?

'I should never have left you, I never stopped loving you, and here now, I still do'.

She's married and I've spent the last few days in meltdown of what could have been.

Now I miss her each minute.

"You have a heart of stone."

I just thought I was being logical.

Reading some of these posts make me feel lucky. I don't think a girl has ever made fun of me the way some people here have experienced. A girl I dated twice and went to bed with on the second date told me that "I should be desperate for only having been in ONE serious relationship at the age of 22" and later proceeded into telling me that I was going to be perpetually single now that I'd ruined my chances with her. A later girlfriend complained about my skills in bed (which mostly had to do with the fact that she f*cked like a tranquilized inflatable doll herself).

Be proud of your logical skills. A lot of people could benefit from being a little more no-nonsense. :)

"The way you're standing isn't masculine. Why can't you act like that man over there?"
