It is likely that they met online. However it is also possible that they used to live in the same area and then one of them had to move.

Well, the last thing is not the case so I am also thinking it's the first thing.

This really makes me want to consider online dating :P

My cousin met his wife online. They had both recently moved to a big city and were both on a message board about music. They started discussing music, then started chatting and found out they lived in the same city and both had just moved there from very different areas. They went out, fell in love, got married and had a baby. This was back before online dating was considered ok. Back then, meeting somebody online was very dangerous or it just wasn't anybody would admit to. There weren't even really many dating sites then. This was just by chance.

I am a ''single'' guy with a very close female friend.
which is cool, cuz now I can still hit on women.

we are kissing friends at this point, hopefully more
than that in the future.

having a quasi-girlfriend is awesome,I can't cheat
on her,cuz were not in official relationship.
lucky me.

Maybe she didn't know? Maybe she changed her mind?

You decide if you are a fool, not someone else, so if you don't want to be made a fool of, don't feel like one. Dumbass. :P

That's why a number of us in this thread said we think that you are boyfriend and girlfriend when you discuss and agree that it is so. Not before.
