People, please advertise yourself/flirt in that chat threads, otherwise this thread will be locked.
I didn't intend to make your work go into vanity.
You see, I responded OP's "What Has Helped?" Anyway I think there must be some misunderstandings. But I won't be on this thread so don't lock please.

You didn't understand the quote.

I only asked people to respect OP and not chat/flirt.

I don't think miss Drawyer was trying to flirt. Her post was quite attention-grabbing, but I think this is a result of her being just ultradorable and not any intention to derail the topic. She can't help being really sweet ;)

As for the OP... in addition to just getting my life together in general, I know that confidence is key. In contrast to what we were told in middle school, confidence doesn't lead to competence... quite the opposite. Find something that you are awesome at, absorb that awesomeness, and realize that you are an incredible human being. Approach women knowing that there is one thing you do better than almost anybody else, and you will get their atention for sure.

Okay, yeah, I do find miss Drawyer to be quite enticing. I appreciate your award for my attempt to be neutral - I try to keep it juuuuuuust barely deniable :).

So, anyway, I think that the right answer to this topic is to figure out what you want in life and then go get it. Everyone, women included, respect someone who has worked hard for what he has. If you bust your butt getting an MBA or whatever, women will know that you are serious about succeeding in life. Getting my MBA has made a colossal difference in the amount of dates I am able to get.

I accept this trophy with great pride. Meeting the woman of my dreams is my primary goal in life, though I don't want to sacrifice my career. Thus, I try my best to maintain barely deniable plausibility ;)

So what has helped me is self-improvement and self-actualization like many others have suggested.

I don't mean to sound like yet another silly self-help book but mean what I say.

I've developed a very ambitious mindset. My friends describe me as a 'tryhard', not in a negative way but a positive way, my best friend calling me a 'successful tryhard'.

I put maximum effort into my life and am always setting for goals and aiming for improvement.

I've been told by many friends they believe sometimes I just need to take a break, sit back, slow down and enjoy life, RELAXXX, but I am not like this at all.

I am always setting goals and quick to find ways to achieve them, living life in the fast lane, always wanting change.

I also dislike STABILITY. I know most people want to live in one place, settle down, and spend the rest of their days in the same place mostly around the same people. I don't like this at all.

I am a much more adventurous person who wants to go places, do things.

I'm not one of those people that loves to travel the world and is super ultra adventurous.

I am like a half-way point between 9 to 5 suburbanite with a white picket fence, wife and 3 kids and the single adventuror who travels the world and never has a stable life or relationships or job.

I seemed to have gone a little off track here.

Well, another point is it works to be interesting. I enjoy philosophy and have developed an existentialist perspective on life as well as many other philosophical opinions and love deep conversation, and also have variety of artistic and obscure hobbies.

I've also been considered 'deep' by others and it seems to be a trait others like in me.

In short: Be ambitious, set goals, self-improve, never settle for less, always be changing, and also work to be an extremely unique, eccentric or interesting person if you can. Embrace your differences and use them as your strengths. An odd sense of humor might just be a unique but likeable one. I am considered a funny guy at school, I am actually the typical 'class clown' and 'joker' type in English class and am liked for my strange sense of humor.
