Yes, but I'd say more than dates, relationships sound the best term to describe it, my first girlfriend was definitely an aspie as at the time I went to an aspie college, which she was also at, but it never worked out because she would dump me then get back with me over and over, plus the reasons she dumped me were stupid anyway, my second girlfriend, albeit that lasted 12 weeks after someone's stupidity really rattled me, I suspect may have been aspie, she was shy but warmed up to me, my 3rd girlfriend I also suspected may be aspie but it didn't work out with her because she was (and still is) a compulsive liar and verbally attacked a female work colleague/friend of mine on more than one occasion which really annoyed me, now as for who I am with now, albeit a long distance relationship, is aspie, she actually is a member here (or I still think she is), and I get on great with her, although the only way we can see one another is over a webcam but one day I really would like to meet her in person, I have felt very happy since we started speaking, and I love her to bits :)

I personally prefer an aspie partner anyway, not overly keen on NT partners at all though I have never been there yet and hope not to

I went to one in Sunderland, no idea if it still exists, heh

that is where I met my first girlfriend (who originally came from Scarborough so I often feel uncomfortable going to Scarborough alone in case I bump into her because I'd rather forget her)

I'm not sure if I would want to date someone with AS. It could be really cool, but on the other hand, I think I'm better suited to date someone who can see my quirks clearly and sort of "take care of me," not in a financial or even custodial or culinary sense (although the latter two couldn't hurt), but more in an overall sense of making sure I'm not obsessing myself out of control or whatever. Eh, now that I think about it, I will probably do just fine on my own anyway, now that i am aware of my AS and its possible pitfalls, but again it can't hurt to have a loving, understanding NT around just to keep everything in working order :)
