"Date other fat people if you're fat"
Nocturnus [on the previous page]: I do have many adult responsibilities, and I have to be extremely careful about what I eat so I don't get sick since my immune system is less developed than other people, so I eat healthy food.

You got it ass-backwards, I'm afraid. Adipose tissue(body fat) produces a compound called aromatase which converts testosterone into estrogens and promotes more feminine secondary sex traits like gynecomastia(AKA "Bitchtits") as well as moodiness and more susceptibility to emotional distress.
The tall lean body type is highly masculine and is generally pretty rare in women and the advantage is that men who are tall, lean n mean have very high endurance. This whole idea that slender=feminine comes from the fashion industry selecting women who had extremely skinny, rather masculine bodies with very little secondary sex traits and it's asinine to the extreme.
*sigh* Yet again someone on here misinterpreting me. I know the role of fat and estrogen, however how many powerliftesr do you see that have excess bodyfat? What fat man do you know, "b***h tits", or not that look like a woman? There are plenty of skinny men with long hair that look feminine. I did not mention lean men, I mentioned skinny men.
Some skinny guys with long hair do look effete because they choose that image. But the idea that skinny men are more feminine is stupid beyond words. I have seen plenty of fat men with bitchtits that are extremely soft and feminine. And no, most bodybuilders and power lifters have no excess body fat.
But this notion that tall skinny guys are "feminine" is purely cultural and has no biological basis because that body type is not only more common in men, but it does not imply lower testosterone/higher estrogen.

As a fashion geek, I think that while skinny women are commonly used in modeling being plus sized has become more socially acceptable in the industry. So being plus sized doesn't mean a woman is less feminine.

Have you ever seen powerlifters?

No excess bodyfat, right....Powerlifting and bodybuilding are two different things. MOST powerlifters have more bodyfat, because they only care about how much weight they can lift, not how their muscles are displayed. Powerlifters are usually always stronger. Their increased size over bodybuilders give them an advantage when it comes to strength, even IF they have a lot of fat. I'm convonced you just like arguing with me. Also, I said that skinny guys are more feminine than bigger guys. That does not imply that they are as feminine as women, or that they have low testosterone; however they would OBVIOUSLY have a lower testosterone level than men that are built and can built muscle easier. Why do you think a lot of small guys get on steroids? I guarantee you, I have way more testosterone than my friend that is 6' 1" and weighs 140 pounds. If my insurance would cover it, I'd get the results just to show you.
Powerlifters look obese and ill, most of them look like they are on steroids without safely measuring them. I think physique bodybuilders or natural bodybuilders are much more desirable.
If they are taking any form of synthetic testosterone, they are endangering the ability to reproduce natural testosterone.

I agree, but I was just proving a point.

Generalization: The swimmer-like build is the most desirable body type for women. At least, this is the most common type I hear they like.

This is definitely true, women like a body that looks like it was acquired by some means of physical activity other than self preening in a gym. I think that many people find that the powerlifter or bodybuilder type physique is try hard and requires a lot of effort or vanity.
Many sprinters, male gymnasts and swimmers have great proportion and symmetry to their bodies, bodybuilders have become more of a sideshow to the general population and many have HGH guts. Even Arnold, the father of bodybuilding admitted this.
I think Hugh Jackman is probably the limit of what women will accept and again, that's only certain types.
Most IFBB pros date female bodybuilders or fitness models, either women in that lifestyle or women that enjoy the status of the man they are dating, ie fame that comes with being professional at anything in the spotlight.
In the same way that most pornstars date pornstars. It is a niche market.

Yes, you said that skinny guys are more feminine than bigger guys like power lifters...what is your evidence that skinny guys have lower testosterone?
Those big guys that have all that muscle mass acquire it through actually building up their muscles(as well as consuming large quantities of protein which is needed for massive muscle growth)and some of them use steroids.
MIGHT I ADD: Skinny guys with the "swimmer" body type are not skinny because of lower testosterone, but because of higher levels of thyroid hormone. The greater your thyroid hormone levels, the higher your metabolism and the harder it is to put on weight(either fat or muscle mass).
Yeah, many people get confused about the difference between and skinny. People that haven't worked out judge the arms as a sign of size or strength instead of looking at the chest, shoulders, traps, back muscles and whole frame.
I consider Sylvester Stallone in Rambo and Brad Pitt in Troy to be lean.
