I'm no longer involuntary celibate. I'm voluntarily celibate. And its not just some twisted trick my mind is playing. I have close to zero desire for a relationship of any kind other than my present limited net friends and few family members I still communicate with.

I self-identify as asexual because my own sex drive is weak enough that I can ignore it most of the time. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 26 (I was in college at the time), and even then it wasn't my idea. I suppose a case could also be made for being voluntary celibate; the last time I went out to a bar (something I don't do very often), someone tried to pick me up.

But I have also realized something... I've been so caught up in the details here that I've missed the big picture (which some say is a typical Aspie trait). I've said that "Incel" wouldn't apply to Aspies because AS, being a neurological condition, would be an exception to the common definition of Incel (those who have a medical or psychological condition that would be a factor aren't "Incel").

This may be true... but it's also beside the point. So my apologies for the digression.

The real issue here is that many with AS lack the social skills to find mates. The fact that there's a legitimate reason for it doesn't mitigate that. It just means we need our own strategies... (And there are already threads for that here.) :)

I agree, but the threads here are useless.
They get hijacked by posters who are 'brainwashed' with political correctness.

Ignore the politically correct, and keep posting.

There are other things I'd rather do with my money.

Just for fun, I once looked up info on the brothels an hour or so outside of Las Vegas (prostitution being legal in Nevada, but not in Clark County in which Las Vegas is located). 8O Let's just say that I have better things to do with a thousand bucks. And that doesn't even include the plane fare and hotel stay.

yeah one nights pleasure isn't worth 1000 bucks

Sorry. I wouldn't blow that much money.
Plus, it would be kinda hard to explain if
I ever caught someone (though anyone
liable to be good for me, probably wouldn't
mind much).

But, I think that it's a valid option - and certainly
more economical than renting some poon for
an hour or so. Frankly, it strikes me as NO
different from your own comment about buying
some pornos.

I was kidding. That's why I added the "lol" smiley. :)

I try to ignore those things, because they tend to be simply
used to cover up real feelings. It wouldn't have even been
funny, if you didn't feel that way, to some extent, unless you
had said EXACTLY the same thing, and where being perfectly
sarcastic - in which case, it would be funnier without.

Except without the smiley, many would think I was being serious, so I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't. But I get it now. Use the smiley when I'm being serious, and don't use it when I'm kidding.

Nah. I just ignore them. Or take them
as not really heavily effecting the meaning.

Either way, I thought that there was MORE
information that needed to be given, and
you gave me the opportunity to spew it out.
