However I have experienced this bias with cheating; when I found out that my ex-ex (the ex before the last ex) was cheating on me; all her surrounding were like “you must have done something bad” or “you were probably neglecting her”; you know the usual bs things.

They say the same or worse to married women. How much I have heard and been accused of and even threatened...simply bcuz my XH was so charming that ppl could not believe anything bad of him. The thing his sister had said when she wanted drug money was untrue but he actually was quite horrific. Continues to be a sociopathic malevolent i dont kbow what...if he feels like it, and always at the children's expense not mine except he knows it kills me to have anything bad happen to them

^ sister-in-law gets that: her ex is continually messing around and disappointing their little boy (6): just to get at her for kicking him out when she couldn’t take any more of his screwed up mind games.
It’s like he’s incapable of being a proper father because he’s still a self-involved little kid himself.

That sucks. I truly believe all these people would do so well joining an MMA gym to get their aggression out as well as be strategic..adrenaline rush.
And it's healthy and a game in which both ppl are on even ground so to speak..

But yeah: getting his frustrations out and all those lovely endorphins would be a good idea too.

Drives a person. It's contagious . that person might mistreat another person intentionally or not.. then their target gets it . n it goes on..

I should know.. Im a very paranoid person


Also ppl doing something bad are paranoid that others will see something is off and realize. So to protect themselves they target someone else in advance with false allegations

Yep, sis-i-l’s ex does that: reacts to what he thinks she might be plotting against him
And there’s bad decisions by his dad in there at the root of it... not my place to go into them here though.

I actually feel sorry for him: he’s ruined what could have been a good marriage and a lovely family by being enslaved to the nonsense in his own head.
Goes without saying that he’s incapable of seeing his own role in events. Everyone else is to blame and he’s the sole voice of reason and righteousness struggling against his oppressors
Must be terrifying for him to live every day like that.
