I found someone by looking for friends on tinder, hanging out with guys, and finding one that I wanted to be with. It wasn't dating, it was making friends and it got me used to being around men, without having to date them. Maybe try making friends and looking for connections in those friendships instead of looking for connections without knowing anyone.
