The National Postal Museum has on display the first public appearance in three decades of the legendary Benjamin K. Miller Collection, which is known as the “crown jewels” of U.S. stamp collecting. The Miller collection is so large that it had to be exhibited in two parts. The stamps that are now on display at the museum are from the years between 1894 and the mid-1920s. The museum previously had Miller’s stamps from before 1894 on display, but switched to the 1894 to mid-1920's stamps on October 1.

Uh, the Miller Collection will be on display only until January 12, so, uh, you might want to go there and see it some time. I was there when the exhibit opened on October 1, and I've been going back to the museum about every other weekend to look at the stamps.

Sure I'lll go on Thursday. Then maybe, I could, uhm, send you an email about a display i had a question on

And you know what else? They have an actual mail train from the 1920s

If you're asexual, then wouldn't your boyfriend be annoyed?

I never drive in Washington. I don't have a car here. The National Postal Museum is just across the street from Union Station (the train station), which also has a metro/subway stop.

Did I really say "Fellatio?" What I meant to say was "Philately." I don't know why I always seem to get the two confused.

How in the world can you confuse those two?

Well, they almost sound the same, and, until just a few years ago, before self-adhesive stamps became available, you had to lick your stamps before affixing them to your envelopes.

Well, if the truth be told, I never did actually lick my stamps directly, because I did not like the flavour of the glue.

Instead, I would put some saliva on my left index fingerprint, and put the saliva on the back of the stamp from my index finger.

THEN I would affix the stamp to the envelope.

This means that my stamps never had the full fellating experience. Or is that the full philating experience? See, I always get confused.

"Hey baby, would you like to be my favourite player 2 for co-op?"

"You should come to my place, and I read you the best bits from 'The Brothers Karamazov'!"

"I'm sure you will enjoy watching 70s-80s b-movies and have a deep discussion about them afterwards."

"My guild raids Karazhan tonight. Wanna come and watch while I drool to my new epix for five hours?"

"You play video games? Marry me!"

And the one I'd really like to use IRL:

"U has meh cheezburger?"
