But this musuem does sound fun. Why does it have to be in washington dc? thats one of the places i don't ever want to drive in.

I never drive in Washington. I don't have a car here. The National Postal Museum is just across the street from Union Station (the train station), which also has a metro/subway stop.

Well, if the truth be told, I never did actually lick my stamps directly, because I did not like the flavour of the glue.
Instead, I would put some saliva on my left index fingerprint, and put the saliva on the back of the stamp from my index finger.
THEN I would affix the stamp to the envelope.
