Actually, a lot of it is to the success part of it.

If "success" in this case means something other than money, then what is it?

It has to do with the evolutionary impulse of the female to seek the best provider for her offspring. Be it money, success, prestige or whatever, women are driven to seek the man who will most probably not use her and leave her alone to raise the kids. Unfortunately for us shy guys, that means women will always expect us to make the first move, just to watch and evaluate us. We're condemned to go through the tortures of uncertainty.

Women are attracted to the rich and powerful because they see it as an opportunity to get all the expensive things they want. They know that lots of men will buy them stuff in hopes of earning their "affections." If the woman was only attracted to your wealth and you don't give her any, she would either leave you or try to trick you into letting her have some of it.


What if I let the maid go who earns $50 a day, and give the girlfriend $50 a day to spend, but have the girlfriend clean the house?

I don't know... I guess it would depend on how much she enjoyed the money versus how much she hated the cleaning. She might resent being reduced to the level of a maid, or she might actually enjoy cleaning house. It all depends on the woman.

Go ahead and earn that Ph.D if you think it'll help. Some women might be more attracted to your intelligence. Not all women are greedy... you just have to watch out for the greedy ones, especially when you're rich.

Yes, that's why I joined this site, to meet women who could appreciate my intelligence for a change. I still am not sure how to approach this, but I have found that I enjoy talking to you guys more than having sex anyway.
