There is an ache at her absence, the distance only attenuating the longing for the familiarity and security I find there even in an alien environment. Grounded neither here or there, the missing of her leaves me agitated and constantly reminded of how very far away we are and how long it will be until we are home together again.

4) A girl I met in November who I wanted to be with but I had to let go instead

I am missing a few of my friends I haven't seen in a few weeks as I have been busy with life and been unable to meet up with them. I am greatful for the support they have given me over the past year for me and my sons.

I miss my very special friend, though I did think of her while I was at the dentist to take my mind off the pain.......

I also miss all my work colleagues, they were probably some of the nicest people to work with.... how I wish my former employer would let me back there again, but sadly.....

Yes, so many people, and especially Lincoln. He always (seemed) to know what the hell I was talking about. I miss not having to explain all meaning and subtext. I miss that he gets it about turtles and elephants and everything.
