Cherry Grenadines are excellent!

They were my salvation during my broke teenage days, when I couldn't order most things.

I know you're in the sticks----but aren't you somewhat near Seattle? That's a place where you can easily get a Cherry grenadine.

I live about 3 hours southwest of the emerald city, via typical traffic. I only go up there if somebody else drives me, and it is an all-day trip. I live about 2 hours from the pacific coast in the middle of a densely forested area.

If you're near a decent road, I wouldn't mind living where you are.

You probably don't get too much snow, especially if you're west of the Cascades.

about 15 minutes driving time from highway 3, which stretches north to Bremerton, and south to Shelton. but I think if you are used to the cultural amenities of the big city, you will be disappointed in our little wide spot in the road, there is relatively little in the way of real culture here. lots of fundies and rowdies, though. and LOTS of guns.

I like "culture"--but I don't tend to partake of it too much.

What little of the "country" life I've been exposed to induced a great amount of enjoyment and catharsis.

mebbe you are like the character Oliver Wendell Douglas' lawyer in "Green Acres" who gets tired of the city life and pines for farm living. well, I can tell you there is plenty of "country" out here alright  but your catharsis may vary ;)

Nope....nothing like Oliver.

That guy, Eddie Albert, lived to be 99.

I guess she was all right--I used to like the Cheryl Tiegs type way back when.

I would have liked Diana Rigg from the Avengers had I been old enough to like girls back then.
