I think I rather feel needed by my partner than wanted. I like feeling useful & having a sense of purpose.

I sent an anonymous birthday card to the same female NT who I pursued for a while to be a potential girlfriend. Her birthday is next week in the early part of December. My therapist advised me to stop this behavior, but after I mail an anonymous Christmas card to her is when I will stop.

I find myself confused by the concept of acceptance.
Why is it that NOTHING lets me feel normal like finding someone wants to get naked with me?
It seems irrational to believe that the best evidence that someone loves me is that they're willing to sex me up, but that seems to be the only referent worth considering.
I'm still trying to work out if my partner stopped loving me when she stopped sleeping with me and when I became just a favoured accessory/emotional punching bag..
Maybe I always was and she just kept reducing maintenance requirements.

I think that anything to do with toenail or hair removal should never be done anywhere near a food preparation area

that kind of carry on might actually be a deal breaker for me

I will continue to avoid potential girlfriends who have superficial interests.

I've finally forgiven myself for the way my relationship ended last Christmas

So if half the potential romance pool retires at menopause, and the majority of the remainder are married then there there is a pretty limited field to consider.
Of these remainder I feel most are just "over" men in general. Hey... I probably would be too if I ever had an interest in men.

What is continuation of my pursuit then, other than futile?

Why do I have to be the one with a libido welded in "Full Steam Ahead." when age is supposed to munt these things?
