Oh. Well, you can take my word for it, if I state a generalisation, it's true.

hahaha no, i really don't believe you, because your generalisation isn't true for some of the women present. that makes it ultimately incorrect as a blanket statement.

Cool NT girls don't have types, they'll love anyone who can make them feel safe in a large world. You can take a girl off someone by either destabilising the safety her guy can give, or by offering a larger world. These are true things. I don't know about aspie girls. It would be odd but interesting if they were much different.

I don't know how you obtained your information. Mine is quite rigorous.

i believe your tongue must be planted firmly in your cheek, because your statements are simply too outrageous to be taken seriously.

Right.

Cause, ya know, actually doing RESEARCH before making (grandiose, sociological) claims is so unheard of.

I'm pretty sure that fraac knows he is in a losing battle at the moment.

I don't know an easy way to tell if people are compatible with each other, but as for myself I can fairly easily make out if someone's my type or not. I've written about this before - it mostly involves checking to see if there's anything to talk about after the first 5 minutes of meeting.
Though this also has me confused, because I've never been able to figure out why I can talk really well with some people and not at all with other people. Especially because when I'm drunk, my 'limits' seem to widen up in terms of who I get along with. But there are certain people I can't talk to (or even get along with) even when I'm drunk.
So I guess my hot tip would be... if you're uncertain about whether or not someone's your type, just get drunk with them and see if you have a connection.

I feel like everyone is trying to convince people that men are not allowed to have standards, only women are. That irritates me a lot.

Nobody cool has a 'type' except for casual sex, Tim. Are you're worried about how uncool people see you?

* Except maybe aspies, about whom I have insufficient data. It would be odd though.
