its looksism and thats what this thread is about, so yeh, do all jump on me for how awful it is for me to point stuff liek that out.

god forbid unattractive women give their perspective on things.
nope, girls only exist if men are attracted to them, their experiences exist, ours dont and were not allowed to talk about them becuz if we do we must hate all men omg misandrist b*****s

I dont care about your looks or anyone else´s looks on this board for personal reasons.

I do however care about the amount of sexism any member posts regardless of their gender because I happen to have to clean up this board and sexism makes a huge mess on 99% of the times

It's the endless ranting on the same damned subject that puts people off...

I think this particular stew has way more bitterness, hostility, jealousy and insecurity than it does sexism.

You have been approached by several other members(including at least two moderators) about this issue so you are more than aware of what Im talking about.

Any post intended to provoke/belittle other members is unacceptable according to the rules and the sticky at the top of this very own section. Your post was provoking all male members of this board regardless of the amount of truth that was on it.
If I was to allow posts like yours based on your experience last week, Id have to allow someone calling all girls sluts because some girl just broke up with him, and Id have to allow someone calling all guys pigs for not wanting to date her and so on, its a non stopping vicious circle we are trying to avoid

im not calling anyone anything.

effect of looks.

incident.

i get groped. security guard laughs. noone gives a *** . i cry.

incident 2.

my friend gets groped. same club, same security a****. she gets coddled by every guy around while the gropy guy gets kicked out and her BF arrives to take her home where she can cry and whinge all night long.

amount of makeup same, weight same, race same, even our HAIR COLOR and HAIR LENGTH are the same.

what was the deciding factor? i say looks. i say so becuz men have told me im ugly.

and i personally dont care what puts ppl off becuz i have no faith in ppl ever being understanding or sympathetic towards me so im just talking about my experience becuz its a forum and on forums u share your opinions and experiences.

Yeah barring a person looking like Rocky from "Mask", the Elephant Man, or having leprosy or something I don't think anyone is "too Ugly" to find a date.. at least on the outside.. the inside however is a totally different story..

funny, karla homolka did something pretty ugly on the inside, yet she has a husband now, even had a husband then.

yet there are plenty of cat ladies who never killed anyone, why are they single? :D:D

oh the aspie naivety.

and no, u cant call BS on what happened to me becuz it happened. period. i have witnesses, a whole f*** clubful for that matter who also know what happened. they dont give a *** tho. most ppl dont.

Well Suffice to say, you've made the statement numerous times that you're "Ugly", or rather, that men find you to be ugly, Maybe you are or they do, I don't know because you haven't posted photos for us to make our own mind up.

But I can say for a fact that all I have to do is go grocery shopping to find plenty of women who I personally find "Ugly" yet who are still either dating or married or who have been at some point and likely will be again...

and so?

maybe they have cash. maybe they didnt use to look teh way they look now. women do age yknow. maybe the guys they are with beat them on a regular basis but they have noone else to date other than them so they stay.

and no, there arent plenty of ugly women, maybe women YOU find ugly, but my definition of ugly is when 100% of guys pay no mind to you whatsoever. thats what i am.

does that make my experiences irrelevant becuz very little other ppl in the world go through them?

if u have a disease only 10 other ppl have are you not allowed to speak of it? does that mean its not a disease at all becuz not enough ppl suffer from it? that its not a problem worthy of sympathy cuz others cant relate?

No, there are objectively quantifiably ugly people in the world. I'm sorry if that makes you unhappy, but it's truth. There are people on the planet who regardless of where they went, every single culture would find them to be aesthetically unpleasing. So it's not just me, but I'll agree, a lot of the women I'm talking about I find "Ugly" or "Unfortunate" are maybe not viewed that way by everyone. That was sort of my point, Perhaps you're only projecting, or perhaps it's only your relatively small population sample which has issue with your looks. Again, I can't know this because I don't know what you look like. I'm having to go by what you say, which is, for all intents and purposes, unhelpful.

Since you brought it up, Do you have a disease which makes you, in your words, Ugly? Car Accident leading to facial scarring?

i have an imbalance in the size and shape of my jaws, and my cheekbones are underdeveloped and my nose is too big, my eyes too small and the shape of my face too long. none of this is medical, or a disease, except the placement of my upper jaw relative to the lower one. orthognatic surgery would help me with that, but its considered cosmetic in my case so insurance wont cover it and its too expensive.

we dont have stuff like extreme makeover or whatever here.

Well in that case I'm sorry for you, it's bad enough nature deigned to put you on spectrum but to add something else to it is.. just plain not nice.

You know oddly enough, getting sort of back on the original topic. When I boot up OkCupid or Plenty of Fish.. or whatever other dating site. if I JUST look at their photos I tend to find quite a few women I find aesthetically appealing.. BUT.. that's when the other foot comes down. The rather substantial number I find attractive is whittled down to almost nothing when I see stuff like "Christian and very serious about it" in their profile or "I'm just a good old fashioned country girl who likes mudding and bud light", or worse under favorite books "The Bible" or "I don't like to read... lol! it's boring and puts me to sleep!"

Both of my ex's have been from other states, and both from urban areas, both have liked reading and been intelligent, knowledgeable, and capable of carrying on a conversation on a number of topics... as well as to me attractive.

I really do think my problem is less specifically about me being picky (I know I am) and more cultural.. I don't conform to the cultural norms in my region, and I find women who conform to the cultural norms in my region repulsive. Basically the US as a whole has a seriously anti-intellectual streak, but it's especially pronounced in rural areas and in poor areas.. I Imagine it would be much the same in Idaho or Kansas.. I know it's exactly the same in Oklahoma as it is in Georgia. I'm a non religious bluestate urbanite trapped in a bible-thumping redstate rural hell.. and I really do think that is more limiting to my potential dating pool than simply me being too picky.

Are you attracted to a guy with similar physical features?

I am being pragmatic and serious here - no pun intended.
