The topic heading was meant to be lighthearted and eye-catching, not serious. I would hope the text in my original post cleared up what I really meant.

On the title basis, I say that yellowtamarin is ugly.

I have a boyfriend that looks like a stereotypical, overweight nerd that is balding slightly with a noticable lisp (which I find kinda cute), but I still love him because he is intelligent and has similar interests as me and because he has autism like myself, is one of the few guys that understand me and we behave so similarly that we are practically connected.

He still finds it hard to believe he ended up with a hot babe like me. At least he thinks I'm more attractive than average.

So, you are saying you are not attracted to his being overweight, or nerdiness, or baldness? Just the lisp part? Or do you find those first three things attractive in a partner?

To rephrase: if hot people are ugly like the title says, then yellowtamarin is certainly ugly ;p.

Don't like skinny blondes with big boobs and a deep tan (especially if fake). Prefer pale skin / dark features, curvy.. glasses sometimes so long as they don't look like a librarian, geek look glasses is ok too. Prefer intellectual stimulation to super attractive or sassy/ditzy/girly. Chavvy is mostly a no but I'm not too worried if someone isn't the stereotype of how women are 'supposed' to dress.

Most the first sentence is ok just not in that super stereotyped context, it's just too weird.

I don’t understand why other guys want their women to be submissive, weak, and dependent. They must cost a lot of effort to deal with in the long run. On the other hand, I for one like women who can take care of themselves, take the lead, and don’t need a man to drag them around by the hair. Those women are far more attractive to me than the stereotypical damsels in distress.

In some ways they do require more effort but for me personallly I think independant woman would require more efort from me because I wouldn't be able to keep with the plans she makes that involve just her or that she would make that invuvlve me too; I'm OCDish about knowing what plans are for me & my partner even if they just concern my partner. I like & need more emotional attention than the sterotypical Aspie so I'll be a buren on an independant woman. Also I have alot of various limitations & I've been though some really bad stuff psychologically a long time ago that took me along time to gradually recover.Emotional/psycholigical issues tend to go along with being emotionally needy & I can realte to that sense I've been through stuff my self & being suprtive of that is a way for me to contribute in the reationship & kind of compensate for my other limitations.
I do get that independance is attractive for some & some are bteer with independant people but I'm not one of em.
