I guess I am very fortunate that I have a spouse who is both of those things to me. I wish the romance was more often, but I guess an Aspie like me is kind of limited in the area of romance and can't expect too much.

You are lucky indeed to have a spouse and have met the one. As for romance people can sort of create romantic moments but as for love, no one can create that, what you have with your wife is worth more then romance, treasure it.

If she want no sex, then it's automatic deal breaker.

I think the differences between NTs and Aspies can be exaggerated and that people can apply their personal truth to everyone on the spectrum. Our thinking might be different, but we're all human and we all have feelings and desires. We just don't necessarily approach them in the same way, or want the same amount.

Well said and agree.

Whether or not i'm an aspie, it still applies the fact that for me personally, I want a meaningful relationship and that special connection with someone and personally don't care about the physical side of things so much.

It has shown on this forum however that despite people having AS, a lot of people on the spectrum still want a relationships that involves intimacy, even though it's a misconception that all Aspies don't like to be touched.
