pardon, but can you tell me what kind of driving would make somebody else say, "that driver is GAY"?
The hell I know, ask the bullies and the idiots, as I said it's all subconscious homophobia (even if the recipient is straight), so nothing is rational about it.
If I recall right, probably because I didn't drive too fast.
I assume str8 until actually told otherwise. If they're gay, they usually feel flattered by the assumption. Unfortunately, you str8 folk still feel insulted by the opposite assumption. Anyways, I don't care anymore at my age, and don't really stop and think about it other than idle curiosity.
am bi not str8. but i hated the arrogance of the females that assumed that just because i didn't make moves on them that i automatically HAD to be gay. the arrogance offended me greatly.
Really?
Aren't we too old, these days, to be offended "Greatly"?
that is why i said "it USED to infuriate me...."
Did what I said, offend you *Greatly*?
So true. COVID-19's quarrantine has been ultra-stressful for the raging extroverts. One size doesn't fit all, for sure.
I get lonely too, but it subsides to just a dull background ache, apt to be forgotten in the wake of games or shows.
I find this funny.
Am I a bad person?
I laff at it too. Extroverts always pumping their chest about how great they are...until now.
Schadenfreude rulz!

Your profile pic looks puzzled and mildly irritated rather than infuriated.
Wise move.
Santa *does* have a dark side.
Absolutely. Homophobia coarsed through my Secondary School when I was there.
Even before exposure to such prejudice, I wasn't ever really attracted to the same sex.
The outed were ostracised, and at the time, there was seldom support offered. I only presume this, as I didn't receive much support from the school when I was bullied.
Someone else mentioned of being assumed gay because he sits with legs crossed. There are even more subtle things that people see as ‘gay stuff’, like for example if you don’t like a certain sport, or drive in certain way.
In school I was assumed gay by some girls (I overheard her) because I never ogled at girls (but neither at guys but apparently that didn’t matter for them).
Isn't that what men say about women who reject them?
"Lesbian".

The ones who drive on the left.
Dah.

I’m beginning to wonder if ogling and making sexual comments about women is social acceptable. Guys at my work do it and other guys talk about doing it and women don’t seem upset about it. But you always hear about women saying they don’t like it, but why not speak up? And when told other guys have done it about them why don’t they get upset? I suppose I’m the only guy who doesn’t look at some woman then turn to the guy next to me and say would you look at that ass.
My showing disgust or lack of responding or probably doesn’t help me make friends.
I’m not saying I don’t look at women. I’m single and male. But I don’t make comments about them, I don’t ogle them. I try not to look at women as I know I’m not good enough to flirt with them. These guys get sex and relationships. So it’d seem atlest some women like it/them. They’ve got money and maybe looks? The one guy everyone complains about though.
Also I’m beginning to think most women are boring and suck at conversations. And the ones I can have conversations with are either too far away, not interested in me or too old for me. Or do most couples just not talk? Did they just jump quick to sex and just do work , sex and sleep barely seeing each other?
Like I try to chat with them. But they don’t put much effort in. I’d expect someone interested in their hobbies or interests to go on and on about it.
Society and women are confusing to me.

Right. I just caught the left eye, there is some sadness there. My brain wasn't quite firing on all cylinders yesterday, not that I'm any expert on reading faces.

Oh junk I was a "twizone" junkie, watched them all twice. But I decided I don't watch b&w shows anymore.
Also there are cool modern shows that are better than twilight zone, like "Tales from the Loop" for instance. Even "Inside No.9" is O.K. sometimes and better than "Twilight Zone". You know that old show varied a lot in quality.

Flirting at work is fairly normal. But talking about someone’s butt is not. Only idiot men do this.
I work in a low-level white-collar job. I’m on the “support staff.”
I hear rumors that the NT upper management where I work is getting up to all kinds of sexual shenanigans. Affairs with ppl at work, hiring folks and promoting folks based on sex.
I think with power, comes the feeling that one can dip one's toe in the pond o' pleasure.
Power goes to folk's head and lets them indulge their inner demons.
I think upper management spends most of its time plotting and scheming how to get away with all the nasty things they have done, not doing any actual work that might benefit anyone.

Do they hire/promote only gorgeous women - and never the plain looking ones? This 'coincidence' in looks is what often leads to such rumors.

Sexual harassment is a big issue, at work these days.
Sly could get into a lot of trouble,
Especially because he is autistic and not realise the consequence of his behaviour, due to the lack of "Theory of Mind".
