I often think it's funny too, though at the frequent expense of a real world cognitive dissonance. Even as nerds go, I'm a black sheep so I guess I didn't exactly feel represented. At least one of them drove a Saab, they got me there.

I don't quite get it from one perspective.

If you earned a medical degree and could walk into a $200,000 a year job then it doesn't make sense to settle for a job sweeping floors.
