And preferably one that's not smooth.

Anyone else really picky about voices? I know it shouldn't matter but if I don't like someone's voice I find it hard to like them, regardless of what they're saying.

I quite enjoy mixed accents, where someone's voice is transitioning from one accent to another, or they've lived lots of places and their accent has got all sorts of influences. I spoke to a lady through work the other day who was clearly English but was developing an American twang because she lives and works out there. That was quite endearing to me. One of my partner's friends has a German accent mixed with estuary English which I enjoy as well. I don't much care for estuary English normally, but mixed with German it's kind of nice.

I'm not picky about voices. I just don't like it when people talk loudly. I do enjoy hearing other accents, but it's not really something that I would seek out.

I knew someone whose interest in certain types of female voices approached a fetish.

Having a weapon in hand is always sexy. Not at all threatening. None of these book covers are at all threatening in any way.

The only celeb I thought of who I find really attractive without knowing much about her or watching anything she did is Lizzy Greene

Caught myself checking out a grey haired old hippy again today. This is good, I think, considering that I'm also getting that way.

I most assuredly have a type...

She’s 5’-10”+, lean and beautiful with very long, very straight natural red hair that I cut for her.
She’s seven years older than me.
She’s childfree.
She loves animals of any sort to an astonishing degree.
She’s very open and honest about her life experience, both the good and the bad.
She can talk with me about subjects, and in ways that we dare not EVER share with anyone else in our lives.
She’s highly intelligent and accomplished, with a long career in her doctoral field, but never boasts of her accomplishments.
She’s autistic (diagnosed at age 60), and yet has no comorbidities at all, as far as I can tell.
She’s very wealthy but also very frugal, with a high degree of capability of deferred gratification.
She’s willing to carefully introduce me to the responsible use of entheogens, something for which I am very grateful.
She will laugh at my feeble attempts at humor, but only when they're worthy.
She’s a fellow semi-responsible hoarder, one who will spend many hours with me at a thrift store, yard sale or auction, in search of some quirky interesting stuff, to bring home and research.
She diagnosed my PDA, before I managed to.

And last, but not least, she put up with me for more than 13 years before the weight of my many failings became too much for her, something I don’t blame her for in the slightest.
