I'm the dominating female in relationships. Guys are pretty intimidated by me, even the ones I date. None of them mess with me because I can easily knock him over.

Ah, resurrection of a two year old post...but what is two years but time?

I think one needs to be more precise in speaking of the term alpha, as it applies to people.

Some may define an alpha man a buff, rich, bad boy type who can get any woman he wants and have sex as much as he wants...for free.

But in my definition, an alpha make is a man who is motivated towards his goals and is good at accomplishing them. He may also be good at motivating and coordinating other people.

Likewise, what is an alpha female? Is it a bitchy woman who plays "hard ball" with the boys? Is it a woman who is successful in the corporate world? Is it a woman with exceedingly good looks?

An Alpha male is not going to want an Alpha female.
A Beta male is not going to want an Alpha female partner either.

So who is going to want an Alpha female?
No one.

You just ignored all of the "yes" answers in this thread and said that none of us like alpha females just because you personally don't. There also happens to be a certain male poster with a whale avatar who started a thread about how he would like to have a dominant woman. :shameonyou:

There are "house husbands" but they have no balls and no self respect.

I think you are confusing a man who is afraid to stand up for himself with a man who prefers the position of home maker, or a man who does not want to lead the relationship.

And simply because a man occupied the position of home maker does not mean he is not the dominant one in a relationship.

What are "alpha females"? I believe the term is a misnomer; there's probably a better name for it, whatever it is.

Now you just sound sexist. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a house husband if that is what he prefers to be. It has nothing to do with strength or self respect. Doing whatever society wants him to do regardless of how he feels about it would be a sign of a lack of strength and self-respect.

Alpha males and alpha females very frequently wind up with each other. Haven't you heard the term "Power Couple"? Or did you think Angelina Jolie is a beta female and that's why Brad Pitt is with her?

No, I have dinner with a woman who knows that I wear the pants in the family.
