It's really useless to be in Lament Mode. I'll just have to be patient, like John Keats, and allow the Inspiration to come to me.

do talk more about that?

Just in general.

I have found that when I actively seek pleasure, that pleasure doesn't come to me. I have to learn to allow the pleasure to come to me.

LOL..I know you were hoping for something more profound. Maybe I'll think of something later. :D

My profundity comes about when.....something's been evoked. Otherwise, I'm pretty much a mundane guy who thinks concretely, and doesn't delve too deeply.

Perhaps all this might change....with the playing of Louis Armstrong's "West End Blues."

You've been through quite a bit of angst in your life, and you attained wisdom as a result.

Your Gestalt's been messed up....by things beyond your control.

Yet you are an amiable sort.

Guess what! I don't give a rat's butt if that doesn't seem to make sense.

It makes sense to me-----even if it's not seemingly logical.

I would love being a Sage on the Mount---but I need access to modern conveniences.

Can anyone see my picture?
If not, what do I do?

Wanders into the bar after two days of hectic craziness. Orders a shot of rum and some green tea. A few deep breaths to relax, sit and watch the waves, and wait for friends. I really missed seeing you guys.

Hi Auntblabby! So nice to see you. I feel much better now, after a stiff drink! What would you like to hear on the jukebox? (standing beside it looking at the list)

Hi, Ms. Chic...glad you can make it! :D

It's a beautiful evening tonight.....there's a Harvest Moon!

The waves are lapping...and the sea water is clearer than normal--almost enough for one to see one's reflection clearly.

Excellent choice, Auntblabby Sir! One can boogie to that song! One definitely doesn't need to have gone to Arthur Murray's Dance Studio to dance to this!

Which is lucky, because I am pretty certain Mr. Murray would not give me the time of day! Let's dance! Turn it up (not too loud) on your speakers of ultimate awesomeness 'blabby. I may even want to splash along the edge of the water since it is so clear. I need to burn off the stress. Don't worry, I know where my towel is!
Great to see you Kraftie, Sir. It's Friday night, everybody boogie!

Oh, yes! I have a big beach blanket. We can go outside in a while and sit and watch.

We have a Tycho Brahe here!

I used to fantasize about being in a building and looking up at the sky through a big hole in the ceiling.

Tycho Brahe did this for years. He recorded his impressions every night.
