Bigotry against involuntarily celibate men
A man who is married, drunk and beats up his wife and his children is lesser misogynist and a scum bag than a guy that has never dated because his standards are too high? Most guys are celibate by choice because they usually want the attractive fit women that are not interested in them. The guys do not want the less attractive unfit women who are interested in them.

If celibate men would stop openly complaining about being celibate, there would be less bigotry against them.
I mean it's like wearing a sign that says, "I Can't Get Laid, Kick Me!"
Agreed. How do people know you are celibate in order to demonstrate bigotry?
I don't go about life disclosing the details of my sexual status and men don't need to, either.
No man openly confesses such failures in the meatplace, this happens online only and I guess the OP was referring to the online bigotry.

There's the cultural thing as well in popular media. Take the big bang theory for example. It makes fun of nerdy shy guys who can't get laid.
You don't see shows like tgat about women, yes I know the included the Amy character... but in general there is a cultural trope that shy Virgin males are to be laughed at.

Good point hurtloam; very very true indeed; there’s literally thousands of shows and instances in movies and media mocking of male geeks/nerds and mocking of their “typical” virginity and dateleness, it was always a comedy material.
But at least they were portrayed as harmless before, now the incel thing may worsen their portrayal in media in a much uglier way.

Let's try a little thought experiment. Let's try to apply this "logic" to other minorities, and see what that sounds like:
"If gay people would just keep it in the closet where the rest of us don't have to hear about it, there'd be no bigotry against them."
"If Muslim women would just stop wearing hijabs in public, there would be no bigotry against them."
"Racism wouldn't be an issue if black people would just suck it up and paint their faces white."
That is exactly what you sound like when you say sh!t like this.

Beat me to it. But his response will be that single men don’t matter and aren’t having real issues
That’s not true
The idea of possessing people is outmoded & disturbing anyway. It conveys that people aren't naturally gravitating to each other. I'm not interested in control, I'm interested in open dialogue and uninterrupted fun that I don't have to spend years reading into just to enjoy.

But your response is likely to be “It’s not my fault” or “You’re just lucky” or something like that.
I’ve been married to the same woman for over a quarter-century, and I’m STILL trying to “read into” what’s going on. But that’s just part of the package.
It's been a year or two since I even remotely cared about who's dating who. We have all the time in the world as I see it.

All the time in the world is a lifetime.
We'll all be happier together if we collectively stop freaking out about these things.
