Addicted, Depressed, Ignorant, Obese, Psychotic, Schizophrenic, Suicidal, Vagrant, Anorexic, Violent I can deal with above is no deal. The Psychotic, Schizophrenic, Suicidal, Addicted, Violent and Depressed make the relationship interesting. As long as there isn't more than two of the above in one woman its ok. I've all ways drawn suicidal people in like a magnet, My first two relations when I was a teen were with women who were in a hurry to go to the here after. I guess I've all ways been a sucker for the one worse off than me. I get hurt bad then I run back to the same type. On second thought shot me if I get with another suicidal woman, I don't know if my mind can take another suicide.

I think there's a common phenomenon among aspie men whereby they get so frustrated about not having a girlfriend that they make themselves feel better about it by being nasty about women and talking as if the woman they are eventually going to get (who they evidently seem to think is 'owed' to them) will be some kind of supermodel. Whereas the reality will be that any decent woman they come across will be instantly repelled by all their talk about all the fat, ugly women they don't want. In my opinion the time to talk about all the women you'd reject is if you could have any woman you chose; not if you can't get any! Humility goes a long way with women and the mere mention of not liking the fat and ugly, to me anyway, signifies a very unpleasant personality.

And at the end of the day personality IS the main thing, whether you want a supermodel or not, as it's the personality of a person that you have to live with.

Someone who thinks I'm some sort of maniac, in short. Control freaks and short-tempered women would get to me, as well.

I really didn't know what to expect when I opened this thread, but the common trend here seems to be that men don't want selfish, psychotic princesses full of self-entitlement. That, to my mind, seems fair enough as who in their right mind (unless they value appearance over substance) actually wants to date a total b***h? Well, the same can be said for us women. We don't want to date shallow, big-headed males who have a sense of entitlement either. In an ideal world, these kinds of fool would just get it on and leave the rest of us with plenty of decent people to take our pick from

I've got the kind of girl I want. Upon learning of my diagnosis, she purchased two text books on Aspergers and learned all about it that she could. She's a pearl.

Gosh, I'm super fussy, so my list would be pretty long if I included everything. Here's a few main ones though.

...is superstitious, religious, or has her head in the clouds more often than not
...won't discuss her feelings with me when it's important
...is so money hungry that she isn't interested in following her dreams
...is an extreme extrovert
...refuses to learn or care about my AS traits.

Smokes weed and parties a lot.
Does drugs in general.
Has very liberal/leftist views.
Not Christian.
Has limited taste in food/doesn't like trying new food, and doesn't cook.
Dislikes physical activity.
Wants to significantly change me, my hobbies, interests, things I like, etc.
Is very clingy/dependent.
Is very shy, to the point where she needs me to do socializing for her, or is too anxious to like...ask for directions or something like that.
Doesn't share my ideas about money, ie, wants brand new things instead of used things, doesn't like me dumpster diving and going to thrift stores for my stuff.


I'm sure I could think of more if I tried. As you can see, I've narrowed things down a bit, as in I've probably excluded quite a significant portion of females. Personality traits I didn't bring up quite as much, as I'm bad at reading people, for that it's more of a "I'll know it when I see it" kinda thing. Mental problems, too, well, I've got mental issues with NVLD and all, so it'd be unfair to expect a partner with a spotless mental health report, but that'd be something I'd have to deal with when it comes. IE, I've met a girl with schizophrenia/affective who seemed quite nice, but she knew she had it, whereas a girl with bipolar who does not know she has it could be bad. So instead of listing personality traits, I just listed activities people with personality traits I dislike do or will not do.
