Also the way women stand can make them appear more curvy than they actually are.

I mean straight as in her sides go in a straight line, even though the lines are slanted. I know they're not parallel or vertical lines, but they're still straight. There's no tuck where her waist should be.

Does that make sense?

I just have a thing about waists. I notice them a lot.

I know what you mean about the way people stand. Some women can't notice their waists unless they lean to the side, so they do so deliberately. Dressmakers often instruct people to bend severely to the side to find what's called "their natural waistline" and measure it at the point required. Lean to one side and a dimple will emerge. This is your waist.

Her waist would tuck in if she was standing like the girl next to her. Front on the girl with the noticable waist; would be less noticable.

LOL well I guess there's no way we can tell! We can argue about it till we're blue in the face, but unless we can get the girls to jump out of the photo and stand at different angles, we're never going to know!

(I'm sure all the guys here would like it if they did that).

Curvy girls are still overweight. I don't get why someone would pretend otherwise.

I may be curvy, but I'm curvy *because* I'm overweight.

I'm going to have to disagree there. You don't have to be overweight to be curvy. Here's a few examples.

Those females have normal curves for a woman. That's not what comes to mind when I think 'curvy'. The classic hourglass figure with thick thighs is curvy.

That's how I am.

I don't understand why any of you would want someone else's body.

... okay. *confused* I may not like my body the way it is, but I've never wished for someone else's. The most I've ever wished for were changes to my own.

Or did I completely misunderstand here?

No, it's not.

I don't like my body.

I'm overweight, my hips are not wide enough so If I was skinny I wouldn't have curves. My boobs are too big so ifI lose a lot of weight they will probably sag. I have cellulite and stretch marks.

I don't quite know what to say to that, hale_bopp.
