I see. So men who work in something like construction for example will have a natural advantage at getting women who like muscular guys.

I have little free time yet I'd have to spend two hours after work every day in the gym to get buff yet these guys get four times as much workout time during work, leaving their evenings free for other activities.

Do women like those rugged construction worker types?

I hear some of them get paid more than me. I'm only on $55K per year because I work in a comfortable office environment. They get paid more for their discomfort or even more in danger money.

Having a sedentry job greatly increases my chance of developing heart disease or diabetes. Not to mention many of the people at work have back problems from spending too much time in a chair. I've heard that staring at a monitor can cause eye damage Don't I warrent danger money for any of those things?

As long as a man keeps himself decently clean, and dresses with clean clothes, he can definitely be attractive to a woman.

Those muscular guys are just fantasy figures. it's nice to have that sort of shape--but it's not a realistic expectation. And women know this.

How many women are like supermodels?

During 1995, I worked out six days a week, ran about 60 miles a week, and lifted weights. It made me lose a little weight--but it didn't change my body shape, nor did it ensure success with women.

I learned this lesson: Work out for yourself, men and women! People really don't care all that much about whether you "work out." Especially as they get past a certain age.

Quite a few. If we define "like supermodels" as women with a BMI of between 18 and 20 and also with a cute face and smooth skin, the number of women I see like that in Adelaide train station is surprisingly high. In fact it is a significant fraction of the young women I see there.

I would speculate the reason is because everyone who commutes to the city is either working full time or going to one of the universities there. To do either of these, you need a good work ethic and strong self-discapline. These virtues applied to the rest of their lives help them remain slender.

Back when I lived in a mostly unemployed neighborhood I saw many more obese people. I guess if they're too lazy to work they're also too lazy to exercise. If they don't have the self-discapline to stay in school, they don't have the self-discapline to avoid junk food.

Anyway, given that these slender young women are quite commonplace in the city and also in my current neibhorhood, I'm suprised more of the women I date don't fit those criteria.

Don't you realize that many women dress to look like that?

Some even put girdle-like things to enhance their figure.

They really don't look like that perfect in body! Honestly!

Even those that look "perfect" have imperfections--well hidden by makeup!

I did not know that. If it helps them fit into a smaller size shirt, I'm all for it.

I prefer the more "natural" woman. With slight imperfections---yet soft, soft lips......

I've been seriously tempted to wear those male stomach flattener thingies.

Nothing unhealthy that would actually hurt or make me feel squished.

Just something soft yet still flattens the stomach.

Having a non-flat stomach seems to be a bit of a deathwish for a young male today, because it is an indicator you don't have da abz.

Are you talking about naturally stocky?

As in, maybe muscular but also a fair bit of fat?

If so, I have a slightly smaller version of that look.

I'm 'solid' and 'bulky' and 'built' according to my family, though I just feel average-sized, maybe it's Body Dysmorphia Disorder. I feel like I have no muscle sometimes when I know I'm average sized.

Anyway, it hasn't won me any brownie points.

I only ever got a single compliment once in my entire life for my build, and it was about my muscular legs.

Meanwhile I still see at least 5-10 couples with a skinny guy who looks no stronger than his girlfriend every single time I go out somewhere with family. I wish that were an exaggeration.

The only couples I see with a bigger sized guy are obviously the middle-aged and elderly couples, but the young ones? Nope, it's always a guy skinnier (and not stronger) than me.

In fact, I almost never see guys my size with a girlfriend, it's either skinny guys or guys far more muscular than me who have obviously weightlifting for years. I seem to be at the exact middle point, except unlike most times this isn't the 'sweet spot' but the 'sour/ignored spot'.

Too bulky for the girls who want skinny guys, not muscular enough to be considered 'ripped' or athletic to the girls who want that.

Not fat enough to be a 'big cuddly teddy bear' for the female chubby chasers out there.

I believe nature exists to be transformed through technology.

Seriously, non-skinny young women experience a lot of more dating discrimination than non-skinny young men.

She's most probably pulling it inside.

But if that's her resting state, then she has a serious health problem.

LOL...This is probably some sort of computer-generated distortion.

I hope the lady's having a good time.

Maybe the ball is like a Ben-Wa ball?
