Yeah, that's why Buddha was fat. While those old monks lived in dark caves, Buddha sat under a bodhi tree on a sunny day. Too much sunlight made him fat.

No, he doesn't need any Slim Fast or diet crap.

That book isn't even about dieting, in fact the author shames the diet industry.

You can get reasonable priced gym clothes at the local dollar store.Dont worry about expensive shoes unless you are doing some serious walking.I never had any luck with the slim fast stuff.The only thing that worked for me is now illegal,ephedra.People abused it and had heart attacks from taking too much.Its an herb,Ma Huang, and you could buy it in bulk in health food stores.I would cap it in gel caps and maybe take a few a day.It was safe that way.You just didn't feel hungry.People died from it in over the counter diet aids pills where the strength was considerable stronger than the natural form and they took way more than the recommended dose.
If you are ever in the desert in southern Utah you can find the Mormon tea plant.Same effects,only milder.Grows everywhere there.

I don't plan on doing slimfast diet, just using it for work where I can bring food and usually just eat popcorn. Hopefully it give me stuff I need and help me make it through the day.

I try not to take more the the dose u less doctor says too. Like with the omeprazole I'm taking, it says not to take more then 2 weeks but doctor said to take for 4-6 weeks, hopefully they right. It seems to help I just hope when it's done and I stop taking it the symptoms won't come back.


Do you and her get along well? I mean perhaps you could try and spend more time with her and hang out...but not sure if you guys are that close. I just know for me a lot of my social life came from hanging out with my brother and he's 5 years younger...but we also get along pretty good and have some similar interests so we have a basis on which to hang out. Like we like a lot of simular music, movies, shows and both play League of Legends.


We live together and always have, but age difference and different circles, she's big into church. Helps run the youth program and hangs out with middle school and high school girls a lot. We don't have similar interests either, she doesn't play video games much besides in 3ds some times. Use to watch shows with family but work and video games got into way of that.

Those aren't real friends. Real friends are people you meet up with in person and hang out with. I have tons of Facebook friend or aqquantiences. I have a few e friends I talk to on daily basis, they not real friends though. Knowing some guy who lives few states over and I'll never meet won't get me out of the house and hang out with.

I totally agree that making new friends is even harder than dating.

Most adults don't seem to be interest to enlarge their friendship circle, they stick to the same circle and don't like to include new ones.

There are Meetup groups pretty much everywhere and you can even set up one if there are none near you. Those groups are great for finding new friends and generally spending your free time with people doing anything from board games to running together or meeting up to have a meal together, that kind of thing. The problem is communication - there's a crazy amount of small talk, but once you're past that stupid barrier it's really enjoyable :) If you want to take a break from people, you just vanish for a month and then reappear :D You can keep it as close or as distanced as you wish. Works for me!
