You are right. People here love light-colored eyes. Unfortunately, mine are dark brown. They do not look bad at all, but I think I would look much better with gray eyes.

I know about Brazil. An acquaintance of mine, an anthropologist, even conducted a "research" on that. He's a blue eyed American living in Brazil and when he went to buy brown contact lenses all the girls in the store went: noooooooooo, your eyes are so beautiful!

Well, it all depends on someone's preferences, but I can't put "unfortunately" and "dark brown eyes" in the same sentence. I love dark eyes and you look great so I doubt gray eyes would suit you the way your dark brown eyes do.

Brown! Big fan of the dark eyes/dark hair combo. But, eye color isn't really important at all to me in the grand scheme of things.

I dunno. I never notice people's eye colour. It's like noticing people have noses. Everyone has a nose. Well, most people.

In actual practice, I am indifferent - beautiful eyes are much more subtle than simply the color of the iris.

If forced to choose, I vote blue because it made me think of Sunshower's eyes - which everyone knows are gorgeous...

I don't honestly care what color as long as they have beautiful eyes :)

Eye color means very little to me, it's about her whole face and her hair.

Amber or blue. Or grey.
I'm not that fussed really, but those are all lovely colours.

I don't look at people's eyes much, unless I'm a bit smitten with them. Eyes are all entrance to the souly, which can be a bit overwhelming.

Dont make that much of eye contact but light brown(the ones that dont look almost black) does the trick for me.

Compliments on my appearance make me feel a strange mix of embarassment and happiness. I do not receive these kind of compliments outside of here (except for about six random strangers in my whole life). Thank you.

I don't think I ever had a preference, but my girl has the prettiest brown eyes. :D

I like green eyes most (but my gf has them, so that's probably the reason). I have also one close friend, I don't know the color of her eyes, but they kinda sparkle and that's really beautiful.....

Aw... you flatterer!

Personally, I've never really had a preference. I like my own eyes mainly because they are a useful tool in photo art - they are a strict blue; not too dark, not too light, almost like a primary blue and so work well with other colours. As far being attractive though, I always considered them a bit boring in some ways - not super light or super dark, not mixed or unusual. Just straight blue.

Sometimes if the backdrop is right they can look deceptively green in a photo... which awesome... but really doesn't happen much.

Eyes that change colour naturally would be sooo useful. But then I'd have to control the colour change anyway to be able to use it effectively, so that's impossible anyway.

But yeah, aside from my bright colours obsession and art, I've never really even registered eye colour much. As far as attraction goes, for me eyes are not a factor really, except I find overly intense and prolonged eye-contact disconcerting and thus unattractive. But again, that's not specifically related to eye colour.

Sunshower - My eyes do that too. I think they're blue but then someone will comment on my green eyes. I wish I could control what color they are.
