in and outta the bar, gotta go outside to watch the meteor shower, it is fantastic with scintillating tails on each of them that passes by.

I hope you enjoy it. Had I know you were here, I would not have excluded you. I am going to sleep now, because I am finally winding down and it is getting late. If you are around tomorrow night, let's maybe do the trivia thing or, if you know any movies line by line, we could find one we both know and do that. This is the best version of socializing, so far as I am concerned. Good night!

It was gently raining on my walk to the bar this evening..in a very pleasant way. I really like the wet sand. Sensory awesomeness. Bartender, I would like a cup of hot tea with mint, please. (plays Weird Al Yankovic on the juke box)

I can use some wet sand....and wetness in general. Do you like body surfing? How would you like "Sidewalk Surfing" by Jan and Dean at some point in the evening?

The waves are somewhat choppy tonight.....it's a refreshing breeze, though.

I think I'll order a Lobster Bisque....and a Super Duper Cherry Grenadine.

I wish Prince was a more approachable sort. He had too much of a "star complex."

Hmm. I always heard Prince was really friendly and awesome, but I never had the opportunity to test that in any way. I still really like his music, though.

Ever see "Purple Rain?" It is said that it presented Prince in a realistic light.

A very talented musician, and a man who was physically strong. He was even shorter than I am....but he could have held his own in many ways.

Oh, I would like some lobster bisque, thank you! I know I saw Purple Rain some years ago, but I guess it did not "stick." I have heard some NPR interviews with people who encountered him in different setting though, of course, I suspect that being a tribute-type show, it might have been a tad one-sided. I see the rain has stopped. Beautiful night.
