So I have noticed that communicating emotions is not something that autistics in general are good at. Verbally, it's pretty much impossible.
I have, however, noted that I am much better at communicating when I am writing and typing (especially the latter) than when I am speaking.
One of the main problems people on these forums seem to have is their difficulty in saying the right things when the time comes to the people they have romantic interest in. I say: Don't say it.
Now, I've never tried this, and I don't have a romantic interest in anyone right now, but I would like to suggest a possibility that may or may not work: Write it down. Give them a note, telling them how you feel. Or, as Jim Croce would advise the musically inclined amongst you, put it in a song. Aside from being a perfectly logical way to court someone for the verbally challenged, it is also a traditional method, and so not unheard of.
Am I crazy? Probably. Am I right? You decide.
