How do I tell when someone is interested in me?

I am curious how I am supposed to tell if a guy is interested in me or not? It's kind of tricky because I never know if guys like me for a friend or if the guy likes me as a love patner. I don't really have the best 'Gaydar' so I usually assume wrong if the fellow that is staring at me is gay. Then when I say hello and stuff, it turns out the guy is straight. So what is a good way for me to easily determine whether or not a guy is attracted to me and is gay?

I'm gay by the way, in case any are confused.

It's a little hard to tell either way, when I notice a guy getting really friendly, I don't know if he's having a good day or if he's gay either. I have the same problem when I try to find weed, I don't even know where to begin, all I can say is if you have a friend or better yet a confidant, you can have them keep an eye out for more men in exchange for you keeping an eye out for women (you're more trustworthy by the nature of your preferences). I can't say I've tried this networking approach, but it seems better than asking strangers if they're family.

Most of the times I have been hit on by guys is in a public restroom.

Sometimes, if you're taking a piss, the gay guys will let their presence be known.

I'm not gay so it is annoying to me.

My advice is to scan the restrooms.

Buddy, if you're gay, you're in luck, because guys are anything but subtle. In high school when everyone is more uncertain and more likely to be closeted, it's harder, but usually guys are pretty frank about what they want -- "Hey, I like you, let's f__k!" seems to be typical.

I wouldn't rely too much on gaydar -- I've seen plenty of real-life examples of people who set off all of the alarms, but were "straight" (or at least living that way).

Just look for a lot of eye contact, a lot of interest in you and what you are doing, touching you a lot, looking for private time with you a lot....

when they bother you for no reason and ask you trivial questions; just to start a conversation...
