Do many of you find yourselves on the short end, always being the temporary solution or relationship until someone better comes around for a romantic partner?

I'm just wondering if I'm alone in this struggle, where I find myself being repeatedly used by romantic partners and people who I thought were my friends at different points in time for temporary things, like relationships, or when people come in and out of your life for temporary gain like work or school.

Iv been thre a few tiems - not exctly for romantic relations, but frindship wise - they will lead me on, thnking we aer great frinds and suckng up all the empathyy I haev to giev to them to sympathesis with them, but when they sudenly get a bettre friend or maek up with thir old friend, they aer gone and maek it cler they want nothing mor to do with me. Closesst I haev evre bein romantic wies was just that I thuoght we were havin a romantic relationship, becuse al my gestuers indicated that whch she acepted - never got to sex thogh - but turned uot she was jus goin to some far mesures to try to convert me becuse it was her christian duty lol, nevre had any intrest romantically, so that was curshing even if fault of my own naievty.
