Dealbreakers that don't preclude friendship

Sometimes, there are relationship dealbreakers that aren't severe enough to cut off contact with the person. Like, you like the person, but you realize something, like there is a mismatch of some sort that would not work if you were in a relationship, but which you'd not be bothered by if you were merely friends.

This of course would include the whole 'to kid or not to kid' business, religious/philosphical differences, etc...

I have a big list of criteria that a potential partner must meet. But if someone doesn't meet them, I will always consider them as friends.
