My Girlfriend & i have been dating long-distance about 6 months now.
& i think she just sorta proposed to me in a text message  .
Though i told her it's prolly a bit soon to be making any such plans as our situation currently stands. But anyways, now i'm just kinda sitting here sorta shocked, but also with a goofy grin plastered on my face. She's so cuuute :) .

You think she 'sort of' proposed?.... wow, that could be one great romantic comedy plot. :P

What did she say exactly? There is quite a big difference between mentioning the possibility of a future and marriage together, and actually proposing.

Either way, I don't mean to rain on your parade. Glad things are going so well. There's no harm in discussing marriage, as long as you're both clear it's just a discussion.

Ehhh, well she more or less asked me if i wanted to get married and make "pretty" babies together.

though either way, i'm taking it as a good sign,
& either way it still put me in a pretty darn good mood :)

But yeah, given our current financial & geographical situations, naturally we're only "discussing" at this point.

& thanks

I'd take it as a humorous way of mentioning that she is okay with discussing serious relationship stuff with you

I've been in relationships where this same sort of thing was mentioned, and it's hard to understand if's a humorous mention or actual proposal. But anyways...it sounds like things are going well for you two. Keep up the good work, lol

The best thing about making babies is the practice before the main event

There's practice before having sperm is released, resulting in pregnancy?

Congratulations and good luck. Have you met her in the flesh yet? I mean clothed and in the flesh, obviously.

Probably practicing having sperm released that does not result in pregnancy courtesy of the five fingered most reliable girlfriend of all.
