I know all the soulmate stuff. It's everywhere. Especially among NT's. But, even here on this site it seems people think they need a girl or boyfriend. I sure am good alone with how I see relationships turn out today and how people take advantage of Autistics who normally can't defend themselves and are vulnerable to being taken advantage of.

it's not so much that i'm not complete without one.
so much as more complete with one :)

Though my current one is likely dying of stomach cancer right now, so this discussion leaves me with mixed feelings on the subject...

Aw. Sorry about your possible loss bro. It happens. Lost a parent at 16 myself. But, thing is greive and all..but move on in a reasonable time. I don't think she'd want you sitting there and being sad for too long. She'd want you having fun. She'd want you being you. Not a shell of the old you.

said "likely", not "definitely" btw and that's only 'cause the tumor is roughly the size of a baseball at this point and my anxiety prolly isn't helping my outlook. For all i know she might even have a pretty decent chance, i just don't know yet. Still holding out some hope on that one. Her surgery's on the 29th, then chemo and radiation treatment after.
Got a thread all about it that Hale_bopp made for me in the General Discussion forum.
Basically just trying to raise money for a trip over to see her at this point...

I'd love a girlfriend, but maybe that is because I am a romantic.

i took one of those quiz thingies to test romanticness vs. horniness.
& i scored exacty the same in both areas. Incidentally scored pretty high in both too, lol.
So i guess that makes me a horny romantic?

I have not been single since I was 15. My main motivation for wanting a boyfriend or girlfriend was to have a regular supply of sex. Eventually one of them I got on with outside the bedroom well enough to stay together for ages (six and a half years).

Oh God...all I can say is that I wish to her a speedy recovery and my thoughts and prayers go out to the both of you.
