I've reached the point where I really don't give a ... what people think anymore.

eg, I've had many casual conversations with nice females at the gym who I'm pretty sure may have had interest in me. However my AS skills or lack of them and inability to carry the casual pleasantries further have basically turned them off and made for awkwardness afterwards due to my poor opposite sex capabilities.

Now I even pass some of them like a full bus and they do likewise as I refuse to let it bother me anymore.

End result is they probably think I am a snob/a**hole/creep

Such is life as an aspie

I don't care what people think anymore either. One of the many rezones why I gave up on the idea of having a relationship. I will not be able to impress a woman by not caring what they think

I get called a snob in real life, but its not because it's true, its because I don't know how to interact or what to do..

Ditto. At some point in your life you realize the opinions others have of you don't really matter. You can call them principles, you can call yourself uncaring. You may care what others thing sometimes, but ultimately, you just don't give a damn.

There came a point in my life where I stopped caring. It didn't matter what people thought of me because they didn't know me well enough or don't know me at all. People that know me have positive thoughts about me.

I did stop caring, but now I care again.

And I've figured until I have $10 million in my pockets I'll keep on caring and doing what they want me to do.

I have no idea what people think of me. I don't care either.

The one thing I do know is that people underestimate me; they know I'm weird so they think I'm stupid. Every day I do things that prove that wrong.

Yeah I've pretty much reached the point where I couldn't care anymore about being viewed as someone who is to be avoided.

Women who go to the gym and try to start up conversations with guys reveals the double standard of when a guy goes to the gym and tries to hit on a woman. It's okay in the former but gets you reported to management in the latter "We are there to work out, not to get hit on by guys"
