As a Hopeful Romantic, I firmly believe that love in all forms (platonic, family, friends, love of God, of country or any endeavor that makes one happy) is the very essence that makes life worth living. For me, love -especially romantic love - is the difference between living and existing.
Although I have not met either of you in person yet, (yet being the operative word), I care about you both deeply. In a way, you have become my Baby brother and sister. When I introduced you in the chatroom, I did it because I think you are both wonderful.
Somewhere in the last few days you have both given into your doubts and deemed your relationship as doomed. Interestingly enough though, you both keep telling me how much you like one another! The crux of the matter is that you have to tell each other how you feel
because it is your relationship. I am nothing more than a mutual friend and Hopeful Romantic who is applauding you both on!
May you both find the courage to reconnect and express your feelings to each other. What can I say - I am just a Hopeful Romantic - not a Hopeless one - and Hope makes all the difference!
