Ok, basically this thread is an open ongoing invitation to post something nice/complimentary about another member of the L&D forum. It can be something about them you admire, or something you like about them, or anything along those lines. Positive encouragement posts are also welcome.

The only rule here is not to post anything negative (that includes constructive criticism sorry, we've got other threads for that). There are many people on this forum who are very hurt, bitter, and sad (with good reason), so I think we need to work more on building each other up.

For those of us who've been around a while, this is not intended to be a repeat of the disastrous hottest girl/guy threads or intended to be competitive in any way.

It's cool that you are being active and trying to help people, sunshower. I think a lot of people deserve the compliments they'll hopefully receive here, whether in this thread or another.

good job : )

Mad props (don't you love it when Aspies try to talk "ghetto") to Merle and BillSmithGlendale - their posts are always great..

There are more that I'm forgetting, but those guys stand out for me.

And yes, Sunshower is ADORABLE!! :D

sunshower - knowing who you are, not being afraid to talk about things that need to be discussed. It wouldn't be a longshot to guess that you've got a universe rotating behind your eyes. You've also been avidly trying to curb some of the bad habits in the form by personal example and staying resilient with it.

hale - getting thrown a lot of crap lately, calmly taking it apart and giving the pieces back. Also doing a great job at expressing yourself and getting your own thoughts and ideas out there where you see similar perspectives/topics being few and far between.

willard - says a lot of things that I respect regarding this angle of things when he does get around to posting in here. I tagged him with a nobel prize once :).

techstepgenr8tion - It's really great the way you managed to compliment sunshower without mentioning how beautiful or how adorable she is. :thumleft:

Only took 7 posts for someone to start throwing punches in a thread entitled "positivity". :?

Oh, but I did mean it. The emphasis on looks (especially when it comes to girls) has been one of my biggest pet peeves since the beginning of time.

Loner Mutant I think it's super his about to go to uni. I think his wise beyond his years and despite some of the flack he gets here a pretty decent bloke as well (I kid you not)

I like Loner as I can relate to him I to was majorly duded growing up also having spent a great deal of my life depressed on disability like him my one and only interest was depressed ranting :P (check his profile)

Finally :) correctly medicated I'll soon be as free as a beautiful butterfly. :)

I wanted to put in a comment for Samtoo also.

Samtoo I see you as a beautiful soul and I hope you can search within and outside yourself to find happiness in your life.

TimTex, you are resilient, determined, and a kind person who cares about others. I know you've had many struggles over the past year and I've admired the way you've kept your head up and kept going even through the most difficult times.

techstepgenr8tion, you've always got something interesting and informative to say, and you're great fun to exchange "posts" conversation with.

LonerMutant, you are not afraid to be yourself and speak your mind, and you hold your own opinions without actively forcing them on others. I admire that in a person.

hale-bopp, I am a secret fan of yours  keep on being you

ToadOfSteel, I like and admire you, you're a person who's got so much going for them, you're kind, open-minded, and a talented singer (from what I can determine) I wish for you also to see that in yourself, to be able to see what a great person you are.

~Also, thankyou everyone for your kind words.

I'll bring someone in who hasn't been mentioned yet....

Johnisblind... you bring a lot of interesting questions to the table. Regardless of my opinions on individual matters, I respect your ability to listen to everyones response and calmly ask questions accordingly. You don't (seem) to let emotions or opinions overrun your quest for an answer. I know all too well how easy it is to get caught up in your own opinions of things and defend it vehemently... so being able to remain as neutral as possible and question both sides of the argument is admirable.

Samtoo,

You've got a ton of musical talent that is begging to be put to use.

Hopegrows,

You are one of my favorite folks on this board. We are better for talking to you.

ZenMistress,

Your optimism is something to admire.
