Well, I wouldn't put anything like this on another site, but I think some people here might relate...
I'm a senior in high school, and I have a few close friends. All of them either have or are trying to get girlfriends. I've had one girlfriend my entire high school experience and I wasn't that close to her. Anyways, I see my single friends easily making small talk with girls and and getting them to like them while I can't handle it at all and I feel just a bit...left out maybe? I don't know, I feel like I might be missing out on a big part of high school for a reason as frivolous as the inability to keep interest in inane mini conversations. So I guess my question it: What should I do? I realize that's a pretty broad question, but I mean is there any advice on how to handle it? Is it even worth it?

Any contribution would be appreciated, thanks.

Friends can be a great help in helping you get a girl, or become more comfortable around girls. Why don't you ask your friends if they can give you some pointers?
