Honestly this is best done by a case-by-case basis, as not all ADHD people are the same. Also we could know about other disorders you might have, as sometimes these things travel in twos. A person who is ADHD/Dyslexic behaves differently than a person who has ADHD/CAP-D or ADHD/Bipolar.

My closest friend is ADD, and another two of my friends are ADHD. We've gone through some boughts. There are more similarities than differences. The is a level of understanding there which isn't there otherwise. I've heard on here a couple times ADHD/Aspie or ASD are a good match and I agree with it. Most ADHD people I know are sympathetic towards others, fun to be around, and talented in areas of interest. Though attention span is an issue, but one that can be worked around.

One of my very good friends has ADHD-hyperactive type, a very pronounced form of it. What I find really awesome about him is that with him, there's never a dull moment. For me, that's a really good thing to have in a friend, because he never needs his alone time. With him, I feel free to be who I am in terms of not suppressing my true personality, as I try to do with a lot of people because they find me very draining otherwise. He, however, is the same way, so we pretty much complement each other. I think it's awesome.

It's a long & complicated story but the short version is~ it was a long distance thing & she had some issues with drugs & alcohol & I was very dependent on her, very insecure & had lots of anxiety issues worrying about her & everything. That was like 7/8 years ago thou
