if I can get a girlfriend, anyone can. And she's smart, gorgeous and an overall amazing person. Don't give up.

Getting a girlfriend is one thing. Even I can do that (and have). Maintaining a relationship, on the other hand... that is the real nigh-impossible challenge for those that are incompatible with the world such as myself...

Well, I do know I can. I just need to come across her some day... and if not, that's fine with me.... really!
But I would prefer if I found her.

Also, congrats!

There was a song called “Even Hitler had a wife”. But yeah, keeping friends is the hard part. I had a girlfriend too. A gorgeous athetic blonde who is finishing a math major. I could make her sound like everyone's dream girl, but the fact is, me and her didn't work out. We clicked in most ways, but not all the important ones. Thats how it goes sometimes.

I've been around this forum a few weeks now, and there sure is a lot more negativity than you'd expect from a support group. Here we have someone giving a positive message and half the posts are pointing out how he'll probably fail later. If you believe you're going to fail, you probably will. I think that's a large part of the problem with some folks. I think keeping a positive attitude has to be part of any attempt at self improvement. OK rant over.

Congrats to the OP on your success. I wish you luck as you work to build a lasting relationship.

I'm still looking for negativity in this thread. there were a couple of observations about the realities of relationships but I've not seen any pessimism towards the OP's

..And going by the Kryder's description it sounds like the girl has got herself a decent boyfriend!

I love your positive spirit you got there and I can get a girlfriend myself but where I live is so blooming hard to find the right one, it sucks so I just wait until the right time comes. :)

For the meantime, I'm heading towards the top and get to toughen myself up a little before I start searching again.

I'll step up. "she's smart, gorgeous and an overall amazing person..." She must have some flaws. She is human after all. How well does the OP even know this girl? How long have they been dating? Is it just infatuation? It sounds like he is putting this girl on a pedestal, and if so, he is at risk of her getting bored/sick of him and dumping his ass. On the other hand, I hope it is true love and she is as great as he says.

The only way I can get a girlfriend is to become a millionaire and then I can pay for it

I could get "a girlfriend" if I wanted to. I think most people could if they're desperate. I am fussy about women though.

No one wants me. I'm a f**k up in the grand design.
