Hi. I keep ending up in off chance encounters with girls and end up receiving these mini smiles from them. Does the mini smile always mean she's interested? I think I'm botching up socially and giving her the wrong impressions but with some promising nice side-effects! This girl was in a shop and she was being especially helpful, definitely more helpful than any other person ever has been but perhaps that's what they're like in Lush..

I guess I would have to know what a "mini smile" is before I could propose a response. Is this an actual term in the UK? I am not familiar with it.

Lol no. It's just a small fleeting smile for just a second.

I interpret that as just being polite.

I would interpret it as a sign of politness as well.

Its a fairly common gesture where I live.

Ive seen it done in a somewhat flirtatious manner but most of the times it was just some sort of bad joke.
