Hi, I'm new. I'm friends with an aspie. I like him a lot too :P

When I hug him he always says "I expected that" or "I expect those". I keep meaning to ask him about what he means but I'm too curious to wait till I see him again next week. It's just an odd response to a hug. What could he mean?

He also meows at me when he wants attention because he knows I like cats. What's up with that?

The first comment sounds like something any nervous young person would say who isnt accustomed to being touched like that. Just something to say to defuse the awkwardness.

The second comment sounds like he's encouraging you to give them more often.

In general, he's nervous.

I think he's trying to encourage you for more hugs by being super direct yet awkwardly timid ...

the meow?

its a cat call what else ;) ;) ?

when you deal with a guy with AS you need to take everything rather literally ..its the way he/we think especially when we're nervous.

haha yeah. My last meow was when I took off my hoodie and only had a tank top on underneath. I guess it is a "cat call". haha.

I think he's being "cute" by indirectly referring to your breasts. When you hug him, he can feel them pressed up against him. That's my opinion.

That's interesting--I was always prone to doing this myself. Though I think it's more about displaying affection than seeking attention for me.

I don't think he'd be talking about her breasts. :?
I thought 'those' referred to hugs in the plural...

You should go for it then if you like him, and it seems like he likes you too.
